Roadmap to Maturity

What if everything we thought we knew about communion was just the beginning? This message invites us into a revolutionary understanding of the Last Supper—not as a formal ritual, but as an intimate friendship meal where Jesus sat with His disciples, breaking bread, sharing wine, and speaking heart to heart. The distinction between 'dinner' and 'supper' becomes profound: supper is casual, light, shared with family and friends. Jesus intentionally chose this setting to say, 'Remember me—not in religious ceremony, but in the everyday moments of relationship.' As we journey through John 13-17, we discover what Jesus actually said during those sacred hours before the cross. The roadmap to spiritual maturity unfolds before us: from the cross where we learn radical forgiveness, through the grave where we die to our own way, into resurrection life where we walk in newness, seeking first the kingdom of God. We're challenged to examine where we're stuck—are we still bound by unforgiveness at the cross? Are we clinging to 'me, myself, and I' at the grave? Or have we stepped into our authority as sons and daughters seated in heavenly places, empowered by the Holy Spirit to be witnesses everywhere we go? This isn't about once-a-month observance; it's about daily dying, daily rising, daily going. The question echoes: Where are you on this journey?
